This was a quick (semi-quick) rebuild of an existing cantilever deck. Some of the existing framing was in okay condition and some was completely rotted. We removed the rotted material and ran our new joists back into the existing framing of the house. Everything got covered in joist tape and then we finished up with Trex decking and facia and an AFCO 275 series cable railing system.
