I love the open structure of this stick built pavilion roof we built to house an outdoor kitchen on the pool deck of a client. We used 2×12″ for the beams and 2×10″ for the rafters. It’s decked with 1/2″ tongue and groove, leaving everything open so you can see the beauty of the exposed wood.
